Saint Andrew’s Calendar

Devotional Word…..

A reminder of and invitation to attend our Visioning Workshops scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, July 13, and July 14
These two workshops are the start of our visioning process…the process of putting clarity around where we are going…where God is taking us. This is just the start. We won’t complete the process during these workshops. We will be creating very important groundwork on which we will build our vision…our plans for the future. This groundwork will be used to build each successive step of the process. So, it is important that we start with a good representation of all of us.
Please, make every effort to attend these workshops and have your voice heard.
Workshop 1: Friday, July 13, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This workshop will focus on the uniqueness of Saint Andrew’s: the community around us and its needs; the strengths and capabilities of our congregation; and what excites us and captures our passion. We will provide the hotdogs and condiments for a “picnic” meal. If you can, please bring something to share to go with the hotdogs: fruit, veggies, salad, cookies, etc.
Workshop 2: Saturday, July 14, 9:00 am to 11:30 am. This workshop will build on the work of the first. It will start with the ideas of what we can do better than other churches, of where to focus our ministry for the greatest impact. It will build on these ideas to develop, with clarity, what our mission should be going forward.

Child care will be provided for both workshops.
Contact Dick Szabo for more information.

Pop-up Bible Study: Letter of James
Tuesdays, July 17, July 24, and July 31, 9:30 am, 322/Conference Room
Pastor McEachran guides the reading of the Letter of James. Written by the brother of Jesus, James of Jerusalem, to a whole series of congregations, likely twelve of them, that were witnessing to their faith in Jesus.
Martin Luther called it a “letter of straw” worthy of burning since it seemed to emphasize works before faith.  He was wrong!  Come and join in this three week study.  Bring your favorite translation and invite a friend in this adventure in digging in the Word.

Parish Nurse Office Hours
Please note that there will be no Parish Nurse office hours on Tuesday, July 17.

The messages mean a great deal to the youth, and will be distributed to them throughout the week they are serving in Montana.
