This past week, we committed to
the Memorial Garden the cremains of Saint Maryln B. Remembered the journey
of her life and the presence of God in her life, with Warren, in their
years of membership. He was our first Stewardship Committee Chair and she
always claimed the front pew on the east side for worship. They both said,
“We can see and hear better here.” And learn they did in worship.
Sunday you will hear in ways you never have before because we have a new
sound system. To hear the Word of God more clearly is the key to our life
together. To hear the Word, to pray, to trust and obey our common calling
in the world to the end of our days. To love Jesus and to serve in His
the family gathered, memories of thanksgiving flowed as we recognized that
she now joins that great cloud of witnesses like those of Hebrews 11. Read
them and add your name to the roll!
left for the parking lot, this is what I saw---
our lives beneath the Cross and Jesus and love as He loved.

Hour Volunteers Needed!
we settle into our fall schedule, we are thankful for the many people who
are giving their time and energy to growing disciples at Saint Andrew’s. At
this time, our Sunday Church School/Affirmation of Baptism/Confirmation
teachers and mentors are still in need of extra support and that
responsibility falls to all of us. So if you have any interest and passion
for furthering the discipleship ministry of this congregation by using your
gifts, please contact Pastor Drew, drew@SALChome.org

2018-2019. Complete one form per family; it covers all youth from age 2
through Grade 12.
~ Copies of the form can be found in the Narthex on the bulletin board near
the church office. Return completed forms to the church office.
~ The form is ONLINE
